Star Trek has lost many great stars in the past years, but today we remember Nichelle Nichols. Her role as Lt. Uhura inspired many as they saw the first Black female in a commanding, powerful role. Not only did she inspire actors, but women and POC to join NASA. RIP to an all-a-round legend, Nichelle Nichols.
